Happy Mother's Day indeed! Rihanna, Eva Longoria and Jessica Alba have shared their Mother's Day wishes and celebrations on Twitter.

A whole host of celebrities took to their twitter accounts to wish their mums a very special day.

New mum Jessica Simpson, who gave birth to her first baby Maxwell Drew on May 1, tweeted a picture with sister Ashlee and their mum, captioned with: 'Happy Mother's Day Mom and Ashlee! Y'all are my inspiration! So blessed to be in your company.'

Superstar Rihanna posted a series of tributes to mothers, saying: 'Sending out special love to those who lost their mothers! *HUGS*'

Adding: 'And a happy mother's day to all the dads doin it alone #1LOVE' and 'Happy mother's day to all superwomen out thurr! Every day is your day.'

Eva Longoria wrote: 'Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing moms in the world, especially mine! I love you mama!' while mum-of-two Jessica Alba said: '#HappyMothersDay 2 all my beautiful mommas! Luv u ladies! Xo'

Expectant mum Kourtney Kardashian posted an old pic of her and mum Kris Jenner with a poignant message reading: 'Happy Mothers Day to my beautiful mom who teaches me so much about the world and about being a mom.
