Cate Blanchett be pregnant for the third time, but she's not about to swap her high fashion standards for maternity wear on the red carpet.
The 38-year-old actor chose a knee-length, figure-hugging black dress and platform-soled stilettos to attend the Australian premiere of the surreal Bob Dylan film, I'm Not There, last night, with her husband Andrew Upton.
The unconventional film, which is released on 21 December, shifts through different periods of the musician's life with Dylan played by six actors - Richard Gere, Heath Ledger, Christian Bale, Ben Wishaw, Marcus Carl Franklin and Blanchett.
The role has already won the Hollywood A-lister the best actress prize at the Venice Film Festival - and is generating plenty of Oscar buzz.
Blanchett revealed she was pregnant at the Sydney premiere of her new film, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, last month - but refused to reveal whether she's having a boy or a girl.
Responding to rumours that the new arrival will be a brother for her two sons, aged three and five, she told reporters: 'You know more than me. It's early days yet. It's due in April.'
