SHOOTING FINALLY BEGINS ON PETER JACKSON'S THE HOBBIT
The Aussie actress, who plays the Elf Galadriel in the franchise, chose a long-sleeved, high-necked white gown with gold shoulder and cuff accents from the Spring 2013 catwalk, which featured a sexy open back detail and side slits.
Cate teamed the edgy dress with a white clutch and clear vinyl and leather ankle strap sandals from the label and finished off her look with a simple chignon, peachy blush and a pink pout to complement her fair complexion.
The star was joined on the red carpet by co-stars Martin Freeman, Sir Ian McKellan, Andy Serkis, James Nesbitt, director Peter Jackson and a dapper-looking Prince William, who attended the event solo while wife Kate Middleton recuperated at home after suffering another bout of morning sickness.
