X Factor runner up Olly Murs and TV presenter Caroline Flack will co-host the brand new series of The Xtra Factor, ITV officials have confirmed.
The pair will step into the shoes of axed ex-Blue Peter star Konnie Huq, who landed the job when Holly Willoughby quit the show last year.
The news was revealed on the official X Factor Twitter page, with bosses telling fans: ‘@carolineflack1 and Olly Murs @ollyofficial confirmed as hosts on Xtra Factor! #xfactor (sic)’
No sooner had the news been announced than the new duo got to work, heading straight to Birmingham for the first round of auditions.
‘Thankyou all so much..en route to Birmingham now for first auditions...xx,’ Caroline told followers on Twitter yesterday.
