Hollywood starlet maybe, but Carey Mulligan has no problem taking the tube. And the pictures are amazing...
Carey Mulligan flicking through her iTunes on the London Underground isn't something you see every day, but today was an exciting exception for a lucky few morning commuters in the capital.
Despite the Hollywood starlet doing her best to go incognito on the tube, that faux fur hat wasn't fooling anyone.
Transport-savvy Carey Mulligan had even bagged a SEAT on her busy 9am journey, where she was spotted hopping on a packed carriage at south-west London's Earlsfield Station.
The BAFTA-winning star apparently stuck out the journey until Waterloo, while giving passengers a flash of her red skinny jeans, cosy park and, not forgetting, her chunky winter hat.
There's no confirming that Carey was actually humming along to tracks by her Mumford and Sons husband, Marcus Mumford, but we like to think she was.
As amazing as the sneaky Twitter snaps are, it's not the first time Carey has been spotted riding the rails.

'Was sat next to Carey Mulligan on the tube,' wrote one Twitter user in June 2012. 'Kind of stood on her bag as I sat down… awkward #starstruck'.
While another observant tube-user tweeted: 'So, Carey Mulligan and Mr.Mumford were on my tube sitting opposite me this AM,all loved up and holding hands, reading paper together :) (sic)'.
Amazing. Now just to work out how long we need to ride the tube before bumping into a famous face…
