Audrey Tautou kicked off proceedings in the French Riviera at a photocall for this year's film festival
The Cannes Festival 2013 officially kicks off today, with French actress Audrey Tautou first up for photocall duty.
The Amélie star posed for pictures at the famous Palais des Festivals at the French Riviera town channelling summer chic in a pretty tea dress.
She teamed her floral print frock by Red Valentino with simple nude pumps, natural make-up and her short dark hair worn with a slight curl. Très chic!
The famous film festival gets well underway this evening, when Baz Luhrmann's new big screen adaptation of The Great Gatsby premieres at the opening ceremony. All of the A-list cast are expected to attend including Carey Mulligan, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire.
Other star names we're hoping to see hit the red carpet during Cannes 2013 include Ryan Gosling, whose new Thailand-set film Only God Forgives screens at the festival, British actress Tilda Swinton, who appears in vampire movie Only Lovers Left Alive, and Emma Watson, who will join her Bling Ring co-stars for the premiere of the new Sofia Coppola directed feature.
