Katy Perry and Calvin Harris have come to furious blows on social networking site Twitter, after the Brit DJ pulled out of Katy's UK set of shows, just hours before they were set to begin.

Calvin was booked to support Katy during her UK tour - which kicked off yesterday - but cancelled his string of gigs at the last minute, leaving the songstress high and dry.
On hearing the news, the furious singer sparked a very public spat with the DJ, slamming him for pulling out of her shows.
‘Calvin Harris will NOT be joining in on the fun and has CANCELLED last minute,’ the songstress Tweeted to fans. Oh dear.
Just minutes later, the angry DJ hit back at Katy, claiming her team changed production arrangements at the eleventh hour, leaving him no choice but to cancel his appearances.

‘Sorry to all who wanted to see me with Katy – her team suddenly moved the goalposts and I was to appear on stage with no production,’ he wrote.
Katy was quick to reply once again, listing all the support acts who were more than happy with the arrangements. ‘The goalpost seems to be perfectly fine for New Young Pony Club, Yelle, Robyn, Marina & The Diamonds, to name a few,’ the steaming songstress wrote.
‘Or how bout Janell Monae and her 16 piece band… It’s fine, I’m used to you cancelling on me, it’s become ur staple!’
‘It would have looked s***, sounded s*** - trust me you would have been more disappointed SEEING the show than u are with me canceling,’ Calvin hit back, adding: ‘Her show is AWESOME, you’ll have an amazing time without me. (especially w/o me DJing on a cardboard box in front of a pink curtain).
After the bust-up, the sheepish DJ tried to repair relations with the star, married to comic Russell Brand.
'I'm really sorry @katyperry I’m just upset because I really wanted to play but ur team made it impossible,’ he wrote.
‘We tried really hard to sort it out, but playing side of stage for 30 mins, it seemed pointless me even being there. Didn’t intend to cause offence or upset anybody.’
While Katy left it at that, it seems her furious fans were less forgiving, bombarding the DJ with angry messages, and forcing him to declare enough was enough.
‘WTF are Katy Perry fans telling me to KILL MYSELF on twitter for?’ he wrote. ‘Seriously. I’m a producer making music. Leave me alone please thanks x’
