It’s official: Britney’s a Gleek! Glee fans the world over have been following the star's every move since she stepped onto the set yesterday. And now excitement has reached fever pitch after she hinted she’ll be performing Me Against The Music on the hit show.

Oh yes. Not only will Brit be starring in the Britney Spears episode, it seems she may even be performing one of her hits, and could be set to battle it out against Glee’s own Heather Morris to recreate the famous steamy Britney/Madonna video.
The excited star took to Twitter yesterday to keep fans updated on her every move on set, dropping hints about what we can expect from the show.
'All my GLEEKERS in the crowd, Grab a partner take it down,' she Tweeted, alongside as she posed for a sneaky behind the scenes shot.
And it seems the pop princess – who has made no secret of the fact that she’s a massive fan of the show - made some new friends as she filmed her cameo yesterday.

It’s thought the songstress will appear in episode two of the second series of Glee.
'The episode will be called 'Britney/Brittany' said show creator Ryan Murphy, revealing details of the eagerly awaited screening to fans recently.
'The entire episode is Mr Shue saying, "I don't want to do Britney." We're doing it in a really fun, hallucinogenic way,' he added.
