Is this the image to resurrect Britney's career?
BRITNEY SPEARS'S NEW album cover has finally been released, showing the star with dark, raven locks and sporting a trendy fedora.
After weeks of back-to-back bad news, Britney will be hoping the artwork for Blackout - her new release - will be enough to win back her fans.
Due to be released on 30 October, the album was brought forward after 'numerous unauthorised online leaks' (according to her record company, Jive).
In other Britney-related news, Justin Timberlake's mother, Lynn Harless, has reportedly become a regular visitor to Britney's home, as she attempts to help the troubled pop starlet.
'Britney stayed close to Lynn through the breakup with Justin and far beyond that. And Lynn feels protective of Brit, she's like her own daughter. She wants what's best for her,' a source claims.
'Justin is freaking out… he would be devastated if she died of a drug overdose... So, he's sending in the one person he trusts most.
