Britney Spears gives first interview in two years to OK! magazine
Britney Spears has given her first interview in two years to OK! magazine and reveals she wants her two sons to lead a normal life.
The candid interview appears in the latest issue of the U.S. edition of OK! with Britney and her two sons gracing the cover. It is believed the pop princess was paid a cool $1 million to share intimate details of her life and family.
Britney, who is rumoured to be returning to the stage at the MTV music awards next month to silence her critics after her cringe worthy performance a year ago, revealed that she would rather her two sons, Jayden and Preston, did not pursue a career in show business.
'I'd rather not. But I'd love them unconditionally if they wanted to. I'd just as soon they have a more normal childhood.'
The singer also admitted she was surprised when she heard the news of her younger sister, Jamie Lynn's pregnancy. 'I was shocked a little bit. She's always been the baby, and the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling.'
The star has been working on new material all year and an album is scheduled for release in six to nine months. Britney said of her latest musical foray: 'I think it is more urban. I'm writing every day, right here at the piano in this living room…This is my best work ever.'
