The BRIT Awards 2013 has unveiled the names who have made it onto this year’s nominee list and there’s plenty of female, and rather fabulous, talent honoured including Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, the late Amy Winehouse.
A newly single Rita Ora may be battling through her heartbreak after splitting with Robert Kardashian but she’s lots to smile about now having been shortlisted for British Breakthrough Act and Single of the Year.
Rita will have to take on the mighty Adele as well as Emeli Sande, Florence + The Machine, Olly Murs and Jessie J to name just a few. Emeli Sande’s domination over British music clearly isn’t slowing down as she racked up nods for Mastercard Album of the Year, British Female Solo Artist and Single of the Year.
