There Is A Petition About Blue Ivy's Hair On Change.Org (Yes, Really)
Do people really not have anything better to do?
Do people really not have anything better to do?
This Blue Ivy hair petition has to go down as one of the most ridiculous things we've heard in a long time.
Change.org is a great tool for facilitating social change; it's currently hosting the 'Don't Execute Meriam Yehya Ibrahim For Being Christian' petition, and remember the success of 'We Need Women On British Banknotes'? But it can be used for stupid, ridiculous, borderline offensive 'causes', too.
Case in point: the 'Blue Ivy Comb Her Hair' petition.
Yes, it really exists and has been set up by a certain Jasmine Toliver from Brooklyn, NY. She writes:
'As a woman who understands the importance of hair care. It's disturbing to watch a child suffering from the lack of hair moisture. The parents of Blue Ivy. Sean Carter A.K.A Jay-Z and Beyoncé has failed at numerous attempts of doing Blue Ivy Hair. This matter has escalated to the child developing matted dreads and lint balls. Please let's get the word out to properly care for Blue Ivy hair.'
That's right. Someone actually took the time to write that. Don't people have better things to do?

It seems there is some sense in the world, though, as the petition only has 11 signatures as yet.
