I can feel your halo...

If you missed out on tickets for Beyonce and Jay-Z’s On The Run II tour, there’s a new way to score free tickets to the show - but only if you’re nice enough. The Formation singer has just announced a new campaign to encourage people to join a local charity and if you happen to volunteer at it, you could find yourself bopping along at one of her stadium concerts.

The aptly named BeyGood/DoGood initiative sees the singer teaming up with The Prince’s Trust, a foundation created by Prince Charles aimed at improving young people’s lives. If people volunteer at the charity, they’ll be entered into an online ballot to win general tickets to her UK shows as well as an auction for VIP tickets.

Ivy McGregor, BeyGood’s director of philanthropy said ‘The united efforts of BeyGOOD/DoGood, along with our amazing partners The Prince's Trust and Global Citizen, are calling upon you to lift your voices, lend your hands and share your creativity as active and positive forces for doing good.’

This isn’t the first time that Beyonce’s teamed up with The Prince’s Trust, as she previously helped fundraise for them on her Mrs. Carter world tour in 2014. While this year’s initiative seems to be focused on volunteering, The Prince’s Trust will also have an online donation portal. You can sign up as a volunteer or donate on their website here.

Nick Stace, the UK chief executive of The Prince’s Trust, said, ‘Beyoncé has supported The Prince's Trust for many years and understands the importance of giving young people who have faced setbacks in life the chance of a brighter future.’

The Prince’s Trust works to support people aged 11-30 struggling with homelessness, unemployment and mental well-being issues. They provide interview training, one to one mentoring, a helpline, wellbeing sessions and development courses for those in need.

If you’re a major Beyonce stan, it might be about time to turn over a new leaf for a good cause. Time to don that halo.
