Just five months after giving birth to baby Blue Ivy, new mum Beyonce is getting ready to celebrate her very first Mother's Day. And it seems there are big plans in the works in the Carter-Knowles household.

According to Beyonce's mum Tina, the singer is 'excited' about celebrating with her adorable daughter, and is planning a big family gathering in her honour.
'[We're] all going to be together,' Tina Knowles told American magazine Us Weekly of the special day, which takes place in the US on May 14.
'We're excited because it's Beyonce's first Mother's Day.'
Far from being extravagant, Tina told how the family are all planning celebrate together at home, even revealing that she's hoping to cook their favourite meal.

'I'm hoping to cook! I want to cook,' she explained. 'My traditional soul food and maybe gumbo. That's my favourite dish!'
Earlier this week, Beyoncerevealed we could be hearing the pitter-patter of more tiny feet in the Knowles-Carter household sooner than we thought, admitting she 'definitely' wants a brother or sister for baby Blue.
'I definitely want to have more [kids],' she told reporters on the Met Ball red carpet. 'I don't know how many. God knows. I don't know yet.'
Speaking of her love of motherhood, Bey gushed: 'I feel like now I know the reason that I was born.'
Just. So. Cute.
