Beyoncé may be pop royalty, after all she’s even earned herself the nickname of Queen Bey but that doesn’t make her an expert in the British royal family as the superstar unknowingly invited Princess Eugenie to sing with her on Monday evening.

During Beyoncé’s first night on the London leg of her Mrs Carter Show world tour she picked (what she thought was) a random member of the audience to sing part of the lyrics to her iconic track, Irreplaceable.
Out of the 20,000 strong crowd at the O2, Beyoncé choose someone closest to the stage in the VIP spot to duet with her and ended up choosing Princess Eugenie to repeat the words: ‘To the left, to the left.’
The sixth-in-line-to-the-throne did what most of us would do and according to The Mirror, went mute. Despite Beyoncé’s support who mimed the words Princess Eugenie only managed to mouth the words before allegedly ducking down and hiding afterwards.

Ever the professional, Beyoncé continued on and found a new fan to join in with the song, although the second time it appears she managed to miss off other celebrity attendees who included Kate Middleton’s brother, James, Donna Air, as well as fashion’s finest, Matthew Williamson and Patrick Cox.
Something tells us Eugenie won’t be standing so close to the stage at her next gig.
