The singer and actress are just two celebs who have some money waiting for them...
Beyoncé, Angelina Jolie and a number of other A-list celebrities, might want to get on the phone to the New York Controller's Office of Unclaimed Funds, because they're owed some cash.
You know when you've got loads of money that you forget what's owed to you and never claim it back? No? Us neither.
But, it turns out that a number of wealthy celebrities are doing just that.
Page Six has reported that New York has around $12 billion (yes, billion) in unclaimed monies just sitting in something called the (imaginatively named) New York State Comptroller’s Office of Unclaimed Funds.
Among the celebrities who are entitled to a bit of extra cash, are Tina Fey, Mariah Carey and Sean Coombs. While The 30 Rock star has funds dating back to 2005, P Diddy is owed cash from way back in 1991.
While, Angelina Jolie has some uncashed cheques that are a decade old, it's Beyonce's neglected funds that hurt the most. The singer reportedly has a Bergdorff Goodman gift card that remains unused, which we'd really like in our own pockets right now. Probably more than the cash, actually.
