Pop's most perfect power couple has been rocked by rumours of a 'trial separation'
Beyoncé and Jay-Z fans, brace yourselves. Because the couple we always assumed to be totally unshakable has now been rocked by split rumours for the first time.
Reports are coming out thick and fast that Bey and her rapper husband-of-five-years, Jay-Z, have agreed to undergo a 'trial separation' after hitting a rocky patch.
While neither side has yet commented on the rumours, if true, one of showbiz's most-loved marriages could be in trouble.
The story was first broken by US magazine Star, who published it on their website yesterday before immediately taking it down. The full details are expected to hit the front cover of the magazine on November 25.
According to sources, the trouble began when rap mogul Jay chose to embark on his Magna Carta: World Tour without checking with Beyoncé - who was under the assumption that he would be supporting her Australian tour leg.
Instead, Jay is said to have chosen his own route round Europe and made no effort to co-ordinate dates with his superstar wife.

Beyoncé, Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy were recently spotted spending some quality family time together at a private resort in New Zealand. But according to insiders, the trip was less of a holiday and more of an opportunity for the megastar couple to save their shaky marriage.
Thankfully, since the rumours first began circulating, HollywoodLife.com has exclusively revealed: 'Their marriage is fine, they’re working on getting together more for the holidays, and nobody should expect a breakup, separation or divorce.'
An insider for the site has cited that Bey and Jay simply have 'normal relationship problems', explaining that the Grown Woman singer's lengthy Mrs Carter World Tour is just 'adding stress to a marriage that is not only important to them, but an entire fan base.'
Phew. This sounds like a much more logical explanation to us...
Fingers crossed our pop's most perfect power couple are still happy, in love, and certainly not going anywhere.
