In yet another twist to this year’s ongoing X Factor saga, bosses have confirmed viewers will be able to vote back in one of the show’s axed acts, to replace disgraced contestant Frankie Cocozza.
It’s thought Amelia Lily, Jonjo Kerr, James Michael and 2 Shoes, will all be in with a chance to permanently return to the show.

According to reports, fans will be asked to choose between the acts – all sent home by their mentors alone - and take part in a phone vote to decide who should return to the competition.
Yesterday an X Factor spokesman confirmed the decision, revealing: ‘The four acts have never been in a public vote so, with Frankie leaving the competition, this is an opportunity for the public to decide who comes back to the show.’
ITV bosses are expected to release details on how to vote later today.

The lucky winner will join the remaining six contestants in the singing competition, taking the place of cheeky teen Frankie Cocozza.
The wayward singer was booted off the family programme on Tuesday, after he broke one of the X Factor’s ‘golden rules’ – thought to relate to drug use.
Yesterday Frankie’s mentor Gary Barlow said he was 'hugely disappointed’ his protégé had ‘thrown away’ his shot at fame, but vowed to support him after his early exit from the show.
'I hope Frankie continues to look to me as a friend and supporter and works it all out, picks himself up and somehow tries to turn this into a positive,’ he said in a statement.
