Couple reportedly call it quits after clashes over career priorities
Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner have reportedly ended their relationship after clashes over career priorities.
The low-key couple, who have been dating for nearly two years, called it quits last week with sources citing Avril's career as the main reason.
'Every time he wanted to come back and take meetings to get his career back in order, she would make him go to Asia and Europe,' an insider told Us magazine.
'He hasn't worked and he wants to. They were both unhappy because he wants to have his career, she wants him to stay with her,' says the source, adding that Lavigne, who released her fourth studio album in March 2011 and helms her own clothing line, Abbey Dawn, vetoed several TV show offers Jenner recently received.

Another source told Life & Style: 'She wanted to settle down, but he wasn't exactly ready.
'They had been having problems starting in the summer with her tour because she was on the road all the time.
'It put a strain on their relationship.'
Popstar Avril, 27, and Brody, 28. (Kim Kardashian's step-brother) began dating in 2009, shortly after she divorced her Sum 41 husband Deryck Whibley.
