The Twilight star was spotted out with the musician as news of her split from Joe Jonas broke

Yesterday, reps confirmed Twilight beauty Ashley Greene has split from Disney star Joe Jonas, after an eight-month relationship. But after being spotted out and about with King’s of Leon rocker Jared Followill on the very same day, could the lovely lady have a new leading man in her life already?

Ashley was spied celebrating St Patrick’s Day in New York with the super-cool star – and King’s of Leon bassist – after meeting her dad, Joe.

According to reports the pair, who became friends before Ashley’s relationship with Joe Jonas, were ‘dancing and flirting’ in the NYC bar, and had even been spotted together the day before.

But Ashley played down romance reports to fans on Twitter, telling fans of her day: ‘Good food. Good friends. Great day. Now I'm at home watching beauty and the beast haha. Super cool.’

Although reps only confirmed Ashley’s split with Joe Jonas yesterday, it’s thought the hot couple could have parted ways ‘weeks before.’

Reports suggest the break-up was ‘amicable’, and the pair want to remain friends, but reveal that with Ashley spending her time filming Breaking Dawn in Vancouver, and Joe in New York or LA, they gradually 'drifted apart.'

Yesterday Joe spoke out over rumours about his sexuality, after talk started to do the rounds.

'I'm not gay,’ he said in an new interview. 'There's nothing wrong with being gay,' he told the magazine, laughing, 'but I'm not.'
