If you know anything about this Dangerous Woman, you know she loves her fans. So when Ariana Grande was asked to give body image advice to any of her young fans who are struggling to love themselves, she spoke from the heart and shared a message that’s sure to inspire anyone who’s having a hard time loving the skin they’re in. And considering that this is the age women feel body confident, Ariana's message is very important.
At an event in Hong Kong on Wednesday celebrating Grande’s new partnership with Reebok, the singer opened up to media outlets about how her mother’s message to her in childhood has stayed with her throughout her life. She also expressed the wish that she could prevent her fans from ever feeling bad about themselves.
'I just want them to love themselves so much,' she said.
'I think the thing that I want to instil in them most is [the message that] you are loved, and there are so many different kinds of beautiful. You are beautiful today if you have 10 cupcakes, and beautiful tomorrow if you do a juice cleanse. You’re beautiful because of who you are.'

She explained that she feels a 'motherly attachment' to her fans, and that she wants to instil in them what her mother taught her in childhood.
'That’s what my mom would tell me as a kid: "We love you. No one cares if you gain or lose however many pounds,"' she said.
'You’re healthy, you’re alive, you are loved…whatever weight you are, whatever situation it is, whether you have a breakout, whatever it is.'
Grande’s words were truly moving, and we hope you feel as inspired as we do. Now get out there and show yourself (and a friend!) some major love.
