The 28-year-old is gearing up to play Selina Kyle - the original Catwoman, who made her first apperance in the film franchise back in 1940.
New movie The Dark Knight Rises will see Christian Bale return as the lead, with Tom Hardy also joining the A-list cast as 'one of Batman's most formidable enemies,' Bane - and will be once again directed by Christopher Nolan.
'I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story,' says the director.
With the famous feline character having already been played by the likes of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry, we reckon Anne is more than up for the challenge.
