After all the Oscars furore over her now famous right leg, Angelina Jolie clearly decided it was time to cover up as she attended the prestigious Women In The World Symposium in New York yesterday.

The actress swapped her flesh-baring dress for a more demure ensemble, showing off her super-slim frame in slim black trousers, peep-toe heels and sleek white tux jacket, not forgetting a sexy siren lip.

The actress joined a host of famous faces, including actress Debra Messing and designer Diane Von Furstenberg, at the World Summit event, taking place to highlight issues facing women around the world.

'I think what are we in this world if we can't give back to others - it's a happier life,' Ange gushed as she arrived on the red carpet.

'I had a wonderful mother I learned a lot about women through her, I have great daughters who teach me a lot about the strength of women and little girls. And I've meet amazing people around the world who have inspired me and taught me to be better.'

The Summit runs until March 10, with many other A-listers expected to support the cause.
