Say hello to Prof. Jolie
Angelina Jolie is quite possibly the most impressive person on the face of the planet. She's an award winning actress, a campaigner, a parent to six children and now she's adding academic to her CV: Jolie has been announced as a visiting professor at the prestigious London School of Economics.
Former foreign secretary William Hague has also been appointed as an academic at the institution. The pair have worked together previously when Angelina was acting in her capacity as a UN Goodwill ambassador. Both Hague and Jolie will lecture at the university's Centre for Women, Peace and Security where students will be studying for a Master's degree.

Commenting on her appointment to the brand new course, Jolie said: 'I am very encouraged by the creation of this master's programme. I hope other academic institutions will follow this example, as it is vital that we broaden the discussion on how to advance women's rights and end impunity for crimes that disproportionately affect women, such as sexual violence in conflict.
She continued: 'I am looking forward to teaching and to learning from the students as well as to sharing my own experiences of working alongside governments and the United Nations.'
