Although we’re still reeling from the news that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are divorcing, it seems like they’re taking a leaf out of Gwyneth Paltrow’s book and working towards effective co-parenting. It had been rumoured for a while that Angelina was considering moving the kids closer to Brad, but it’s now official and the kids will now have an entire mansion to scamper around in.
While she and her six children have spent a lot of time in Malibu since the announcement, they’ll be returning to the Hollywood hills to a neighbourhood nearby Brad. The house - well, mansion - that she’ll be calling a home is reportedly priced at £18, 537, 600 and spans 11, 000 square feet with six bedrooms and ten bathrooms for her and her brood. Located just a mile away from their father's home, the kids are apparently thrilled at the prospect of being closer to him.
An insider told Hollywood Life, ‘[Angelina Jolie and the children] had spent their spring and part of the summer in Malibu, about an hour drive from Brad, which was hard on the kids. While they liked being at the beach, despite everything, they did not like being so far from dad.’
‘Now that they are skateboarding distance to Dad’s house, they are much happier being close to him, and back in the neighbourhood they consider home — about a mile from Dad.
Angelina Jolie announced that she and Brad Pitt would be splitting in late November 2016. Since then, Brad Pitt has been spotted at Glastonbury with Sienna Miller and promoting his new film War Machine, which has just been released on Netflix.
