Angelina Jolie is in talks to publish her autobiography for a record-breaking £31million sum
Angelina Jolie has found herself at the centre of a bidding war, as three US book publishers battle for the rights to her autobiography.
It’s thought that Ang could sign a world record deal to write her life story, with current figures tipping the £30million scale. Eesh!
New reports suggest the Oscar-winning actress is ready to reveal all in her memoir, with a close friend telling a British tabloid, “She has always wanted to do this and believes the time is now right.”
The friend also revealed that since undergoing a double mastectomy in February, the mother-of-six "has never known such peace and fulfillment in her life. There are demons in her past but she is in a place mentally and spiritually where she feels comfortable enough to write about them honestly and put them in context.”
“No issue – apart from those that might damage her children’s privacy – will be taboo,” the source added.
With the Hollywood starlet sparking new 'secret wedding' rumours recently, the new book could reveal details of her have-they-haven't-they wedding to Brad Pitt.

Meanwhile the bidding war is thought to have hit $50million, equal to £31million, putting Angelina on track to make three times the £8.7million sum paid to former US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton for her second autobiography in April.
The figure, although astonishing, may come as little surprise to anyone who’s followed the 38-year-old star, though. Now a United Nations goodwill ambassador, Angelina was once Hollywood’s wild child, making headlines for dabbling in drugs and various rocky relationships.
However much she signs on for, there’s no doubting we’ll be first in line when Angelina's autobiography finally hits the shelves!
