The couple spoke about Angelina's mastectomy on the Today show
It's not every day we get to watch Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in a joint interview - but next week, we'll get to see just that, as they appear on the Today show together.
In the emotional discussion, the couple speak of the difficult decision they made when Angelina decided to undergo a double mastectomy, with Brad calling it a 'scary decision'.
'I knew through the surgeries that he was on my side and that this wasn't something where I was going to feel less of a woman, because my husband wasn't going to let that happen,' Angelina Jolie tells presenter Tom Brokaw in the soon-to-be released interview.
Angelina underwent the surgery after losing her mother, grandmother and aunt to breast cancer, which meant she was at a higher risk of suffering from the disease. While she received admiration from fans and celebrities alike, in the interview, she speaks of the reaction of the crowd being irrelevant when coming to such a huge decision.
'You never know what a reaction is - you have to just make the choices you make in life,' she tells Tom. 'I made the choices I made because I believed they were right for me.'
Her husband said of her choice: 'Whatever's got to be done to keep the family together and keep the family together as long as possible is going to be done.

'This was her charge, no question. It's a scary decision. There's many things that can go wrong and go (in) many different directions.'
Thankfully, the family are going from strength to strength, with the couple now starring in By The Sea, their first movie together since Mr And Mrs Smith.
We're looking forward to seeing the interview in full next week...
