As Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie confirm their engagement, it's being reported that they're moving to the UK

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have announced they are engaged and we've got the first photos of the custom-made ring.

A spokesperson for the couple confirmed the news after Ange was spotted with a large diamond ring on her wedding finger.

The representative said that although no date had been set yet, the engagement 'is a promise for the future.'

They also added that 'their kids are very happy.'

A spokesman for jeweller Robert Procop also confirmed to Us Weekly that Pitt, 48, had designed the engagement ring for his future bride.

'I can confirm that, yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt,' a rep said.

Pitt and Jolie have been a couple since 2005, and have six children – three adopted and three biological – together.

Following on from announcing their engagement, it's now thought that the couple will move to the UK for the next two years due to work commitments.

The Sun are reporting that the super-famous family will be setting up home in Richmond, Surrey, while Jolie works on Maleficent, which begins filming next month, before joining Pitt on Ridley Scott's The Counselor, followed by director Danny Boyle's new, yet-to-be-revealed project.

A source told the newspaper: 'They loved it when they were in the UK last year. They like the culture and are happy for their children to receive schooling here. They think Richmond is a beautiful part of the world.'
