The Corrs frontwoman, Andrea Corr, ties the knot in traditional Irish ceremony
Andrea Corr married her stockbroker fiancé this weekend and looked pleased as punch in the August sunshine.
The 35-year-old frontwoman of Irish band The Corrs was all smiles after her wedding on Friday to her billionaire man, Brett Desmond.
Andrea tied the knot in a traditional church ceremony in County Clare, Ireland in a stunning strapless cream Vera Wang design, flanked by her sister bridesmaids, Sharon and Caroline Corr and Brett’s sister Zoe.
The simple full-skirted dress featured a matching corsage adornment and satin waist bow. With her hair styled into a loose updo, Andrea embraced the typical bridal style with a floorlength ivory veil.
The bride chose the simplest of floral arrangements, holding a tiny bunch of gypsophilia, mirroring the choice in the groom’s button hole.
The happy couple held a lavish reception at the nearby Doonbeg golf resort where a whopping 400 guests attended, including stars from Bono and his wife Ali Hewson to TV presenter Patrick Kielty.
