Less than a month after the tragic death of Amy Winehouse, reports have surfaced that plans are in motion to make her troubled life into a TV series.
Television stations have allegedly been in contact with the late singer's family asking for consent to make a bio-series about her, The Sun reports today.
A family source said: 'The feeling is there wouldn't be an actress under 30 who wouldn't want to play her.
'The first job is to get financial backing from co-production companies in the States. Some are showing interest because it's a sure-fire money-spinner. They know anything Amy-related is going to be a huge success.'
Reports also suggest Lady Gagahas been approached to portray Amy, with the Daily Star saying she is considering the role.
A mole told the tabloid: 'Lady GaGa worshipped Amy and would love nothing more than to transform herself into her idol on the big screen.

'She'd be spot on performing Amy's songs and has got the right look and bolshy attitude. GaGa's management team had been discussing possible film ventures before Amy's untimely death. But there's only ever been one role she wants and that's to play Amy.'
Gaga has previously revealed that she was often mistaken for Amy at the start of her career, which helped her feel she 'wasn’t alone.'
'I was nobody when she was first coming out. I would be on the street and people would go 'Amy',’ she revealed. 'I just remember feeling like I wasn't alone because she was so different.'
Gaga has been very vocal in expressing her sadness over the young singer's death, saying she 'couldn't speak for days' when she heard the news and tributes Amy to 'changing pop music forever'.
