The pair met on the set of Mama Mia in 2008, and quickly became one of Hollywood's hottest young couples.
But in a recent interview Amanda revealed she wasn't sure if Dominic was ‘the one,' suggesting there could be trouble in paradise.
In the past Amanda has also talked about the difficulties of maintaining a long distance relationship, as the pair live on opposite sides of the ocean.
‘There's nothing easy about it,' she told reporters.

And now sources have confirmed the pair have definitely split.
‘Amanda and Dominic have been on and off for a while - and right now they're taking a break,' one insider told US magazine People.
‘But they're great friends and could still get back together.'
And although distance could certainly have been a factor, rumours suggest wildchild Lindsay Lohan could have played a part in their break-up.
Dominic was reportedly spotted with his arm draped around the party girl at a celeb-packed bash in Cannes this week.
