Cara Delevingne makes her movie acting debut in The Face of an Angel.

The upcoming Amanda Knox movie hits cinemas at the end of March and stars one Miss Cara Delevingne.

Making her movie acting debut, the model plays a student in the film, which is inspired by the well-documented story of Meredith Kercher and Amanda Knox.

The Face of an Angel centers around the unsolved murder of a British student in Sienna and also stars Daniel Bruhl, as a documentary filmmaker covering the case, and Kate Beckinsale as an author working on a book about it.

So what of Cara's acting ability? Well, our Entertainment Editor, Martha Hayes, has already seen the movie and was more than a little impressed.

'There's going to be a lot of divided opinion about this film but one thing is for sure – Cara Delevingne shines,' she says. 'Models can be quite distracting in films. They're otherworldly and look like models, but Cara has so much charisma, that's not an issue.

'Obviously she doesn't exactly blend in, but she does have the acting skills to make you forget you're watching "Cara Delevingne in a film". She's charming and very watchable and while this is just a supporting role, I'm really excited to see what she does next…'
