Taking to her Twitter page, Amanda Holden spoke for the first time since losing her baby
For the first time since tragically losing her unborn baby, Amanda Holden has spoken publicly via her Twitter account, posting a message of thanks on her official page.
Writing last night, she said: 'Chris and I would like to thank you all for the thousands of messages offering support and love during this horrendous time.xx'.
The statement is the first word from the star since the heartbreaking loss of her seven-month old baby. She has remained in hiding with husband Chris Hughes and daughter Lexi, to allow the family time to grieve in private,
Amanda had waited until she was six months pregnant before announcing her news to the public, later revealing she was cautious after having a miscarriage last year.
She was admitted to hospital in early February, when she sought advice after she noticed that her baby had not been kicking. Doctors were unable to save the child, which was later stillborn.
