Pippa Middleton's favourite designer Alice Temperley has lashed out at designers who pay celebrities to sit on the front row at their fashion shows, calling the practice 'barbaric'.
The designer made her feelings known at the launch of her Somerset by Temperley collection for John Lewis last week. According to the Sunday Telegraph, the designer said:
'Paying celebrities? I think there is a lot more of that going on than people think goes on. I think that paying somebody to come to the front row of your show is a kind of barbaric thing.'

'Unfortunately, the world is sort of obessed with celebrity and I don't think it should be like that.
