Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner create own political party
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner this week acted on their political leanings - and hosted a fundraiser for Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama in the actor's hometown of Boston.
Wearing a grey suit and cool Converse trainers, Affleck said he and his wife were just doing 'their part for society'.
He called the Illinois senator a 'genuine, real force,' the Boston Herald reports, and said 'there are a lot of things' he loves about Obama, 'but I won’t bore you with all of them.'
'I’m an actor,' Affleck added. 'I’m not going to create 10-point policy details of why.'
Affleck has been an Obama supporter since he first met him at the 2004 Democratic convention in Boston.
But he joked that he's glad their relationship hasn't got too close for comfort.
