Singer hints at her latest mission on Jonathan Ross' new chat show
British soul queen Adele has hinted that she is to record the latest James Bond theme song - and we think she would complement the world's most famous British secret agent perfectly.
Adele let the exciting news slip while appearing on Jonathan Ross' new chat show on Saturday night. When pressed by Ross about her return to the recording studio, the singer said: 'Well, this is actually a theme. Wow, that's really giving something away.'
The host replied: 'A theme?' before humming the signature James Bond music.
A blushing Adele said: 'It's a concept. One song'
The Someone Like You singer also opened up about her love life and said she hated being single. When Ross suggested her single status may be a result of her chart dominating albums 19 and 21 being autobiographical, Adele said she didn't write about her most recent relationship.
She said: 'To be honest, I got a bit burnt back in May, around my birthday, and I know he would be over the moon if I wrote a record about him. But no way is that boy getting a record about him. No way.'
