Adele Surrounded By 'Secret Wedding' Rumours Following Cryptic Ring Pic

An image of Adele showing off a diamond wedding band has surfaced on Twitter causing many to believe the singer has married in secret

Adele is at the centre of many media headlines this morning, as it's being reported that the singer may have married her fiancé Simon Konecki in secret.

The rumour mill went into overdrive this morning when a fan posted a picture of the star to Twitter, where she can be seen showing off a huge diamond band on her wedding ring finger.

But all is not as it seems. The picture is, in fact, an old image, which was taken back in 2011. Reports have stated that the picture was taken when Adele attended a Robbie Williams concert in London last week, but we now know this to be false. What's more, this isn't the first time we've seen the star sporting these rocks.

She's shown them off regularly on the red carpet – you can see them clearly in shots taken at the 2012 BRIT Awards when Adele is clutching her wins.

Adele was thought to be marrying charity worker Simon at a fifties-themed wedding near their Sussex home this month. The pair have been dating since 2011 and welcomed their first child, a son thought to be called Angelo, in October last year.

Last time rumours of a secret wedding circulated, the singer took to Twitter to slam the rumours, saying: 'I'm not married… Zzzzz.'
