The idea initially started as a joke at Sunday’s Academy Awards, but has quickly spiraled into serious offers landing on the table. Speaking after her win for Best Original song at the Oscars, Adele said: ‘Maybe I’ll do a HBO special like Beyonce did.’
Just 24 hours later her comments were taken very seriously by American TV heavyweights, with an insider telling The Mirror: ‘As soon as Adele said she could be interested in a show, TV producers were compiling suggestions.
‘This will be a major coup for anyone to get. Adele hasn’t done any major interviews for a long time.’
The focus of any potential documentary will no doubt focus on Adele’s relationship with her partner, Simon Konecki, and the new addition to her family, son Angelo.

IS ADELE CONSIDERING LAS VEGAS RESIDENCY?
Adele’s last small screen appearance was during a CBS show where she took the station around her home and opened up about her throat surgery.
It’s not known whether Adele will snap up the lucrative offers to appear in her own documentary but it’s a definite that with a Grammy, BAFTA and Oscar in her trophy cabinet there's a huge interest in the star right now.
