It looks like Adele has some very exciting news, as a stint in America could be on the horizon for the UK superstar.
Chart-topping crooner Adele could well be making her way across the pond, for a lucrative residency at one of the top hotels in Las Vegas.
Mum-of-one Adele has reportedly been offered an eye-watering £20 million for a year’s contract performing at the five-star Wynn Hotel. Should she take it up, she’d certainly be in good company.
Adele would be joining the likes of Cher, Britney Spears and Mariah Carey, who have all taken up residencies at hotels in the fast-paced city before.
A source at the hotel allegedly told The Sun, 'The days of entertainers coming to retire at Vegas are a thing of the past.'

“'In the last few years, we have seen massive stars performing on the strip and every major hotel wants to say they have the biggest star as their resident.
'Caesars Palace had Mariah Carey, Planet Hollywood has Britney Spears, and we want Adele.'
They continued, 'Even at half a million bucks a show we are confident we would make a healthy return,'
The luxury hotel already plays host to in-house DJ David Guetta – so it seems the fee wouldn’t be too difficult to drum up.
However, it was only in June 2017 that the singing superstar revealed how difficult she finds touring and being away from home.
In an open letter to fans, Adele confessed to be a 'real homebody.' The singer also admitted that the only reason she tours is because of her fans. And remarkably, she revealed that she didn’t know if she’d ever even tour again…
Adele wrote at the time, 'Touring isn’t something I’m good at… applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable.'
'I don’t know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I’ve toured is you. I’m not sure if touring is my bag.'
She went on to say, 'Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn’t suit me particularly well. I’m a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things.
'Plus I’m dramatic and have a terrible history of touring. Until now that is! I’ve done 119 shows and these last 4 will take me up to 123. It has been hard but an absolute thrill and pleasure to have done.'
Adele also recently had to cancel the final dates of her World tour after damaging her vocal chords to the extent of having to use sign language in order to communicate, though the star is now back on the mend after taking some much deserved and needed rest.
However, the Vegas hotel has reportedly stated that they’d do whatever it takes to accomdate for Adele’s needs.
The source added, 'Adele is a professional, and knows her own ability. And we are happy to be flexible in negotiations if it’s needed in order to bring her on board.'
