Just weeks ago the couple’s relationship was rocked by affair allegations, after the towering sportsman was said to have slept with a 19-year-old prostitute during a stag weekend in Madrid.
Abbey immediately ditched her wedding ring and jetted off to Spain, reportedly telling Peter: ‘Every time I see you it reminds me what you’ve done,’ but was said to be wracked by indecision over whether to save her relationship.
And it isn’t yet clear whether or not the pair plan to stay together.
But either way, Abbey’s said to be ecstatic at her recently-learned baby news, and was reportedly heard gushing about the happy development to celebrity hairdresser pal, James Brown, at a London restaurant.

The model and presenter even revealed she thinks she’s having a boy, and was overheard telling her friend about her conversation with a nurse.
'She said, “She's the expert. She said she could see what it is now which means it must be a boy. I reckon it's probably a boy. She said it's so perfect'," an onlooker told the Sun.
And it seems the star made no secret of her news. Abbey reportedly told a restaurant-goer: 'I'm having a baby! I just had my 12-week scan.'
