The proud parents have christened their tiny tot Sophia Ruby
After celebrating the arrival of their first child earlier this week, Liverpudlian model Abbey Clancy and Spurs striker Peter Crouch have announced the name of their bouncing baby girl - Sophia Ruby. 20 STRANGEST BABY NAMES
'They chose Sophia Ruby because they just loved the names,' a spokesman for the pair told the Sun.
Weighing in at seven pounds and nine ounces, the proud new parents are said to be 'over the moon,' with the tiny tot, who was born at an exclusive private hospital on Tuesday.
'Mother and daughter are doing brilliantly,' a friend of the couple told the Daily Mail after Sophia Ruby's arrival, adding that the happy couple were 'over the moon,' and completely in love' with their new daughter.
The couple, who became engaged in July 2009, have had a rollercoaster year.
25-year-old Abbey stood by her fiancé last August, after allegations that he had cheated on her with a teenage prostitute during a stag weekend in Spain.

But after putting past troubles behind them, it seems the pair couldn't be happier.
'It's weird how you can go from your whole life being perfect - and that excludes living in a nice house and having all that - just being so happy with someone who's your best friend and then a baby, a miracle,' Abbey told the Daily Mail last year.
After starring in Britain’s Next Top Model in 2006, Abbey is now a regular TV host on ITV’s This Morning, as well as E4’s new series, Great British Hairdresser.
