Another major role in the 50 Shades Of Grey film has been filled, as American actor Victor Rasuk is cast as Christian Grey’s love rival.
Not widely known to UK audiences just yet, Victor will play Jose Rodriguez in the movie adaptation of E.L James’ best-selling book.
Jose is an aspiring photographer and classmate of Anastasia Steele, who will be played by Dakota Johnson in the hotly anticipated film.
The character’s crush on Anastasia pits him against wealthy businessman, Christian, who, as we know, shares some rather steamy scenes with the 21-year-old college girl.
Jamie Dornan has been confirmed for the lead role, following Charlie Hunnam’s surprise exit from the production last month.
Filming also suffered a one-month delay after Jamie’s casting, putting the August 2014 release date in some doubt.

Meanwhile True Blood’s Luke Grimes has signed on to play Christian Grey’s brother, Elliot, and British star Jennifer Ehle is expected to take on the role of Anastasia’s mother, Carla.
The cast, which is growing by the day, is expected to begin filming next month.
Latest reports also confirm Jamie’s part in 50 Shades will not jeopardise his current role in BBC2 thriller, The Fall.
Talking to RadioTimes.com, the show’s executive producer Gub Neal said: “We have been talking to Jamie for nine months about his role and the Fall schedule is not affected in any way.
“We begin filming at the end of January, beginning of February, and it is a 16 week shoot and nothing has changed.”
Fifty Shades is finally taking shape - we can’t wait.
