iMinds is the perfect general knowledge companion for the time-poor, knowledge-thirsty and savvy technology user…
Learning a few new facts every day has never been easier with iMinds, the hot new download that helps keep your mind sharp with short bursts of information.
In an attempt to capitalise on our increasingly short attention spans, and dependence on iPods and other MP3 players, the company has launched a series of eight-minute brain-boosting audiobooks.
The non-fiction guides aim to increase general knowledge on-the-go, with topics ranging from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the Seven Wonders of the World. The information in each segment is heavily fact checked by award-winning writers, and presented by top voice-over artists.
IMinds’ CEO Olivia Wood, founded the company in Sydney, Australia, driven by what she saw as an emerging trend in products that blended education and entertainment, and the increasing presence of personal technology in all aspects of modern life.
‘iMinds MindTracks are the perfect companion for busy MP3 owners who use technology to get the most out of life,’ Olivia says, adding that she envisaged the tracks being used by people to gain quick, yet informational, ‘snacks’ of information during their commutes or at the gym.
There are currently over 400 iMinds MindTracks available for download, costing 95p individually, or in bundles for £5.95. The tracks cover 12 categories such as politics, the arts, medicine and inventions, and pop culture.
