Blake Lively describes how awkward it is to watch Deadpool sex scenes
Especially when EVERYONE is watching the film
Especially when EVERYONE is watching the film
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are such a real-life Disney couple that it’s almost impossible for us to imagine them dealing with anything that’s not picture perfect. We imagine that when they’re together, they must feel like they’re living in a rom-com 24/7. However, Blake Lively is here to prove otherwise because these two, in fact, deal with awkwardness just like the rest of us.
Though they normally work hard to keep their family together on holidays, Blake and Ryan ended up spending this Father’s Day apart. Lively was instead on a plane with their 1-year-old daughter James. When discussing this specific trip, Blake told Jimmy Fallon, 'It’s kind of torture these days because I’m on a plane and everywhere I look, every screen is my husband in a sex montage throughout the holidays with another woman – because everyone wants to watch Deadpool on the plane. Everyone.'
Yes, we can imagine that would be an uncomfortable experience for Blake – but it gets worse. 'For 14 hours, having your husband having mashed potatoes eaten out of his butthole – ’cause that’s in the film – it’s lovely,' the actress explained. 'It’s a cruel and unusual form of torture.' Plus, James always ends up recognizing her dad on the screen.
'And then my daughter goes, ‘Dada!’ and then she starts hugging and kissing the screen and waving at him, and he’s not waving back and she doesn’t understand why he’s not waving back at her because she thinks it’s like FaceTime,' continued Blake, making us cringe at the thought of young James seeing her dad in this particular role.
Yet, even with this awkward image in our minds, that hasn’t stopped us from thinking that Blake and Ryan belong on Disney’s character roster – especially with a daughter who sounds like she’s cuteness personified.
