Beyoncé is getting her own TV channel and we're freaking out
Is there anything that Queen Bey can't do?
Is there anything that Queen Bey can't do?
This is not a drill: It looks like Beyoncé will be getting her very own TV channel in future. The star has had a whirlwind career already, dominating the music industry and, more recently, launching her own fashion line, Ivy Park.
On top of this, her seriously successful visual album, Lemonade, dropped earlier this year - and did you see how much the Formation World Tour has already earned her? You can even watch what she gets up to behind the scenes while she's on tour (because we know you're dying to know).
There's no doubt about it, the woman is crazy successful in everything she does. And now, Queen Bey is apparently planning to launch her very own TV network, along with her management firm, Parkwood, The Sun has reported. But what exactly will the channel include, we hear you ask? Chat shows? Sitcoms? News? Back-to-back Beyoncé music videos, even?
Well apparently, the channel will focus pretty heavily on programming that's more educational, including documentaries on African and American history. Pretty interesting, right?
An insider told The Sun: 'Her entertainment company Parkwood is doing very well and her desire is to create a network so she can have the freedom to bring the ideas of her closest creative friends to life.' We can't wait.
There is a little bit of bad news, however - unfortunately, it looks like a Beyoncé channel probably won't be gracing our TV screens in the very near future. 'The plan is to develop it within the next decade', the source said. 10 years is a pretty long time when we're already this excited, but the Beyhive will be more than happy to wait, we're sure.
