Shiseido will celebrate 140 years in beauty by re-launching their original product, Eudermine, in August
Shiseido has announced that it will be celebrating a whopping 140 years in the beauty business with a blast from the past as they resurrect their first ever beauty launch: Eudermine.
Eudermine was originally developed in 1897 to protect the skin from the influx of poisonous lead-based cosmetics.
Clearly, this need has passed, but - ever loyal to their culture of combining modern technology with heritage, art and culture - the chic Japanese brand has found Eudermine’s twenty-first century niche.
New Eudermine, £49, forms a cunning water veil to protect the skin’s own moisture levels whilst enhancing them with a combination of deeply hydrating bio-hyaluronic hyper complex and amino acid derivatives.
The light Peony fragrance is an added extra, which relaxes the mind and leaves skin soft.
Head to Harrods from August and get your very own slice of cosmetics history.
