The SAG Awards were another excuse for the A-list to parade their perfect beauty looks to the masses, from fresh-faced skin to loud lips with Anne Hathaway, Lea Michelle and Jennifer Garner leading the way.

Most looks on show were ones we’re keen to recreate in the real world. So, to help you on your way we enlisted the expertise of beauty guru and facialist to the stars, Abigail James whose client list includes Sarah Jessica Parker.
Today she hosted a Twitter master class with Marie Claire to share the A-list beauty secrets she knows all about, as well as the best products to purchase for your own red-carpet make-up.
The first revelation featured Naomi Watts clear-skin secret, Abigail tweeted: ‘Naomi Watts' skin secret? Skin juice! Alkaline: cucumber, lemon, ginger, celery and apple. Super-boost with avocado!’

To achieve the same glow as Jennifer Garner, Abigail suggested: ‘Jennifer Garner has the face of the evening for me! Oxygen Therapy, my ultimate tool for plump, hydrated, youthful skin.’
Want to have the same effect without the A-list price tag? Abigail’s advice included: ‘Brightening skin look: with a gentle skin peel (MyBody Probiotic). Don't be afraid of a peel=face changing!’
Glowing skin was certainly the order of the night, with Glee star Jayma Mays also in on the action. Abigail’s tip for this: ‘Jayma Mays in Georges Hobeika, beautifully dewy skin! For this Kerstin Florian hyaluronic serum is a dream product.’
When it comes to appearing bright eyed, Abigail stuck to the tried and tested routine adding: ‘Put eye cream in the fridge, apply only in the morning and use a cold tea-spoon to perk up puffy eyes. And always put on a slice of cucumber.’
To ensure your lipstick stays in place all night, no matter how many times you smile for the paparazzi, the final tip was: ‘For a long lasting lip - Mac prep & Prime Lip is ESSENTIAL. So too are healthy hydrated lips! Dry brush gently with toothbrush to remove dead skins cell. Allow lips to breathe, go bare. And drink lots of water!’
