Fragrance house Roger&Gallet have launched a limited edition collection based on Napoleon's favoured scent
It's not every brand that can boast a celebrity following that dates back over a century.
Illustrious fragrance house Roger&Gallet counted French leader Napoleon (colloquially responsible for introducing the Italian fragrancers to continental Europe) among their most faithful clientele.
The Emperor's cologne of choice, Jean Marie Farina, was given a re-design on the request of his first wife, who designed a bespoke oblong bottle for her beloved to carry in his boot, as a keepsake on his travels.
And to celebrate the luxury fragrance house's 150th anniversary, the Rouleau de l'Empereur flask has been re-designed and will be available for a limited time in three scents; woody Bois d'Orange, floral Fleur d'Osmanthus, and refreshing Jean Marie Farina, £34 each for 100ml.
It's fragrance fit for an Emperor!
