Grey's Anatomy's Patrick Dempsey is the new face of Avon fragrance
Grey's Anatomy actor Patrick Dempsey is the latest star to join Avon's stable of celebrity brand ambassadors.
The move is a fitting one for Dempsey, as his make-up artist wife Jillian has been Avon's creative colour director since July 2006.
He commented that this was definitely a factor in his decision to join the brand, 'I felt comfortable going with Avon because my wife has such a great relationship with them….I do feel that Avon is changing. It is moving forward. The face is younger, and it is revamping in a positive way. You are seeing that with the sales.'
Dempsey will front the campaign for Avon's new men's fragrance, which will debut stateside in November this year. He joins Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Hudson and Lauren Conrad, who currently act as spokeswomen for the beauty giant.
