These hair straighteners are the most expensive in the world
They're literally made with 18-carat GOLD
They're literally made with 18-carat GOLD
If as a child you dreamed about winning a golden ticket Charlie Bucket style, allow us to bring you the grown up equivalent.
New ghds, aka some of the best hair straighteners, are coming and they are fabulous. Used on the likes of Margot Robbie, Saoirse Ronan and Jessica Biel to get their red carpet-ready hair for the Golden Globes, the new design features dual heat zone technology to ensure sleek, smooth and snag-free styling. Also, who doesn't want hair like Margot Robbie?
But here's the good bit – as part of the launch, a handful of the new models will be made with actual. Solid. Gold. 18-carat, to be precise.
It gets better, though. They are the most expensive straighteners to ever grace the hair styling world, ringing in at £1,000 (but we'd go as far as to say they're priceless).
There are only 70 in the world, and just ten will be available to UK shoppers. So, how do I get my hands on these golden beauties, we hear you ask?
The first 10,000 pairs of gold stylers sold will contain a golden ticket – just like Charlie Bucket.

Launching on the 19th February, they'll set you back £139. But frankly that's a bargain if you end up with a gold pair...
Now how many pairs of ghds is it acceptable to buy to try and win one of these things?
